PE Curriculum Intent

At St Martin’s Catholic Primary School we aim to inspire and engage children’s interest in sporting activities by providing a wide range of opportunities in school, after school and within the wider community. It is our intention that all pupils will have the opportunity to take part in competition and represent our school before they leave us.

We aim to foster children’s interest in physical well-being and healthy lifestyles in order to establish long lasting lifestyle messages.

We aim to promote our Christian values through sports and positively encourage children to share, support, trust and work together to reflect our whole school vision of being:

“Kind, Respectful and Responsible”

The PE subject lead is Mrs Wild.
